I have thought long and hard on what I want for my classroom and these are the materials I think would benefit my students the best. The pillows I am requesting for my students already have a "home." I know exactly where will they go and when they will be used. One example is daily in my school we have 30 minutes of IRLA reading. This is when students read for that period of time around the room while the teacher works one on one with a student or small group of students. During this time students are selected to pick out different seats and a variety of pillows and fun seats to sit in. Over the year these items have been loved and are about ready to be replaced. Students would love to walking school one day with some of these amazing kids friendly items to ready with. I believe that with your help you can make reading in my room even more inviting and exciting for my students and myself.
