My classroom is a warm, welcoming place in central Texas where students have hands on experiences with reading, writing and social studies. We work together to inspire students that love writing and reading and care passionately about the world and people around them. My students are predominantly from low-income homes and school can often be a refuge for them. They're eager to learn and capable of amazing things! They work hard and their capacity to learn never ceases to amaze me. I learn as much from them as they do from me. We collaborate together to make a classroom community through out the year and we learn together to be great humans as well as great thinkers!
