Kindergartners need to wiggle and move to increase learning. If children are focusing on sitting still, they aren't able to focus on and process what is being taught. These wobble chairs are just the beginning of providing flexible seating in my classroom to help all children learn in a way that meets individual needs. Rather than wandering around the classroom to meet movement needs, these stools will allow students to wiggle, stretch, and move while still focusing on the task in front of them. Students will feel more successful, confident, and in control. Student learning will increase, behavior issues will be reduced, and classroom management will improve.
