As part of the already ongoing student garden, students will take a deeper look into the science of what is taking place with the plants, water cycle, sun, and insects. They will use the solar panel kits to learn more about the sun and how it creates different types of energy. The students will learn about the water cycle and how it affects the plants and animals of the world. They will learn about different types of insects that they can find in the garden and come to an understanding of the "good" and "bad" kinds of garden bugs. Last they will use the microscopes to see what is happening to the plants and dirt on a microscopic level.
