Help my students create STEM centers in our classroom! Kids living in a digital world need opportunities to learn not only reading and math, but the language of coding. Being exposed to coding early in life will help students gain a deeper understanding of the language being taught. Students will develop their computer programming skills through the use of iPads and Robots. Our class has already begun honing our coding skills through the use of code.org and we are looking forward to expanding our understanding of computer programs.Having manipulatives to model written code will give students a valuable visual and will make learning authentic. Writing code will build collaboration among students and support learning in other areas such as math, engineering and science. You can help prepare my students for the future from a young age! These tools will strengthen their understanding of problem solving, computer science, and engineering on a daily basis through small group activities!
