Students learn in a variety of ways. Sitting at a desk is not always the best option for my students. Some students like to stand while they work. Others, enjoy sitting on the floor. I have created an environment that allows students to work in a space that will allow them to do their best work. However, while students like to work on the floor and stand to work, they don't always get the best work done due to the work conditions. Having a lap tray will be more beneficial than a clipboard. The students will be able to set their laptop down on the tray and still have space on the side to complete a worksheet. This will not only allow the students to do their best work, but will also keep their laptops safe from falling off their laps onto the floor. The lap tray can also be placed on a students desk to create a raised work area for the students so they don't have to bend over to work while standing.
