Meet the Positive Pandas! Our classroom family is made up of 34 extraordinary 3-5 year olds, and 2 teachers who love them! To qualify for Head Start, our students must be at or below the federal poverty limit, or have other needs such as homelessness, placement in foster care, etc... Head Start not only provides education in the academics, but also focuses on teaching children how to manage their own emotions and work with others. We create a classroom family in which we all work to help each other learn, grow, and stay safe! Head Start also works with whole family to make sure that they have the resources they need to succeed. We provide opportunities for the parents to be involved in their child's education, as well as providing education for the parents when needed. And as a parent, can't we all use a little help sometimes? Head Start believes that EVERY child can succeed, and we can't wait to help them!
