In this project, I'm requesting leveled readers. These materials will directly impact my student's daily lives because currently I don't have enough readers for each student to have practice materials of their own. My goal is for each student to have 5-10 books for their reading level. I want them to read these books in class and take them home for practice. I would love to get enough levels for students to continue having readers as they progress their reading level. "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better." Dr. Seuss has always been a source of encouragement for me as a teacher. Now I can use his great words to encourage my students to overcome obstacles in reading.
