In our classroom, we value time working independently, but thrive from collaborative experiences. My creative students work best when they have flexible seating options, allowing them to efficiently move within the room and gain new perspective. Their inventive minds can create short films, write chapter books, provide high-level math explanations, and develop artistic maps. Though over half of my students come from low-income households, they see nothing but opportunities when they enter the classroom. My students use a growth-mindset daily to better themselves and each other!
