Despite the COVID-19 being a major issue with students returning to school, I have been teaching 2 autistic kindergartners 3 days a week for half a day. Having these sensory items would greatly support my students as they learn how to transition into school and kindergarten. When the school doors are ready to fully open up, my students will be ready. Also, I have a student that has difficulty focusing on his assignments and having sensory breaks for him and allowing him to use flexible seating would benefit him so that he is able to complete tasks and show growth. Overall, I believe your efforts to support my students is an effort to support our future. Thank you.
