My students talk about video games all the time, including Fort Night! This Osmo will be used during reading and math rotations. The students get to utilize their small motor skills to manipulate the letters and numbers as well as see these letters and numbers come to life on a video game like screen! These Osmos will be used during the word work rotations in math and reading. This technology will really help to engage my students. I especially have my lower level learners in mind. It is hard to get them interested in reading and math if they don't feel proficient in either area. They would have a blast using these devices and I know it would help them to learn their sight words and basic math facts up to 120!
