Students must experience hands on learning to master the skills needed for first grade. They do better when the centers are appealing. First grade students need to be kept interested and engaged in their learning. When the centers are created we print them in color and laminate them so that they are used for several years. These centers will keep them learning all year long! Creative Caring Colorful Centers let our students know that we truly care about their learning styles. Each center is themed to peak their interest and keep them focused on their learning throughout the day. We need four printers for our four first grade classrooms. We have tried to find affordable printing in the area and the cost is outrageously expensive. This takes away from our annual budget money which can be used to purchase additional hands on manipulatives to enhance their learning experiences. In order to help with the cost we are also asking for 28 print cards to print the centers in color for the entire school year.
