In this day and age, there is so much emphasis on teaching standards-based curriculum that art often gets left behind in teaching. I want to incorporate art consistently in my classroom to allow students to express themselves. Art opens up dialogue and creativity, and it is an universal language that will help bond my students. In order to do that, I need tools and supplies, such as a drying rack, watercolor paper, pastels, and canvas panels, to be readily available in the classroom. Art materials are expensive and often disposable, it needs to be replaced reguarly. Please strongly consider supporting my project so it will allow students to tap into their creative expressions. I can't wait to share my students' art work with you!
