We would like to learn about music and rhythms using a new curriculum called KidStix! Each student needs a steel can with drum sticks, a tambourine, and a beat board. Then we learn basic rhythms with 4 different sounds and read music that is projected on the screen. When we get really good, we get to play full songs! Using these tambourines will teach the students how to explore new sounds and ways of making music using KidStix curriculum! Our students love to be hands-on learners and create music in new ways. This new curriculum will help students successfully play rhythms and sound colors they have yet to explore. Reading the music will help them with their motor, reading, and listening skills
