In our classroom each student will get to use a book box to keep their self selected texts organized. To support responsible and engaged readers students will book shop weekly and read these self selected texts everyday. Students get excited when they get to pick books that interest them! With book boxes students will have their self selected books easily accessible and ready for daily independent reading time. In our classroom we learn expectations when it comes to using our books and book boxes. With individual book boxes students are learning to be responsible and take care of the books in our room!
