The wobble chairs will allow my busy body students to get that urge to move out while still being able to stay focused. It also adds a fun variety of seating to our classroom, rather than sitting in the same old red plastic chair. Providing a variety of seating will allow students to choose what fits them best. I know I like to move to different types of seats depending on what task I am doing. So, why not give my students the same option? I believe it's very important to give students choices to keep them engaged and keep the learning relevant to their lives. Whether that is picking books that interest them, choosing from various seating options or having options to show their learning. Providing more phonics readers will increase my classroom library tremendously and give my students more choices of books at their reading level.
