My students need a solid foundation and entry point into the world of music. In the backbone of every good song is a strong rhythm section. My students need percussion instruments in order to accomplish this. Drums are not only educational, but also a lot of fun. If funded, my students will all have an instrument that they may all collaborate on in learning on keeping a beat and staying in time. This will bring a lot of joy to my students as well as liven the lessons I have planned for the forthcoming year. This will help with the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching rhythm in a large, group setting.

About my class
