Chromebooks will enhance my students learning experience by giving them access to the intuitive and accessible programs developed by Google for Education. Through the use of the G-Suite products my school district uses, my students will have more personal and quicker access to Google Classroom, Drive, Keep, Hangouts, and Slides. Their exposure to the use of this technology in the class will also encourage digital citizenship and advocate for a paperless classroom. Chromebooks are easily transportable, a new-age notebook that is versatile. My students will be able to ask critical questions as they compile information into deeper learning projects, and have the flexibility with where they choose to do their research. Plus, they have options to record, develop, and present their findings. Chromebooks in an elementary performing arts school will help my students discover new ways for arts integration. They will be able, as digital citizens, to collaborate and communicate with their peers at other schools, artists, and scholars.
