In my classroom, my students have to experience 6 harsh LED ceiling lights. The floor lamps and string lights will be used to create a softer lighted atmosphere which will in turn help them to focus on therapy and achieve their IEP goals. I have multiple students on the Autism spectrum and this especially rings true for them. Their sensory systems really struggle to process the harsh lighting AND the activity we are doing. The file folders will help all 60 of my students have materials prepped to target their goals.
