I teach kindergarten at a moderately low income school. In the last 5 years our population has grown at an astounding rate thus our class sizes are larger and we have many more sections per grade level, which means we are short a lot of instructional materials as well as physical room that help and assist our kids. Our students are very eager to learn, but need the appropriate materials and space to make learning happen. With the support of these materials our students have the chance to learn at their own rate by having more space to learn in and to have the skills needed to be successful and ready for the challenges in first grade next year.

About my class
