As a UTeach alumni and and an ATPE member, I'm proud to say that I am a huge fan of the 5E model. I do my absolute best to provide my students with engaging lessons that provide experiences and knowledge that will last long after the bell rings. I went to a training that revived the way I approach teaching. This project helps improve engagement, academic achievement, and provides my students with hands on experiences. Biology is all about processes. I want to be able to put away our interactive journals for a moment to actually make DNA before their eyes! K'nex education uses DNA replication.
