My school has purchased an amazing new CD player for my students to use with headphones. I am so excited to use it for center time. For centers, my class breaks into groups of 4-5 students and each child holds a book while the CD plays and reads the words so that they can follow along. However, we only have a few books on CD for them to read. This center is one of their absolute favorites. It gives them great print exposure and fosters a love for reading. They need audio books to use at center time. Many CD readings use fun voices and special effects, which makes it all more interesting to my little ones.
