I've recently begun teaching small reading groups. I love working with small groups, but need the proper tools to deliver the best instruction I can. If I had an easel I'd be able to help students visually organize the information I'm giving them. For example, I'd post learning goals on the easel to remind students what they are working on in their reading. My school has recently started using Thinking Maps, an easel would allow me to model these maps throughout our time together. An easel is a tool I would use daily and I know it would help me push my students to the next level.
