This year I am providing my students a new way to learn and stay focused, by allowing them to pick their seats and having flexible seating. The flexible seating is not only for the time that they are at their tables, but it also provides different options for the students during their independent reading and writing times. Some of the options the students will have are, standing seats, stools, pillows, bounce seats, seat cushions, balancing cushions and traditional chairs. This will allow the students to stay focused during the school day and allow them to be actively engaged in their learning.
