With flexible seating my students are given more options in their learning, while providing a warm and welcoming classroom environment. Much research has shown that the use of flexible seating in a classroom can significantly decreases the lack of focus, and the distracting behaviors. I plan to use this flexible seating throughout the day but most importantly during independent reading time, and ultimately build upon their reading stamina. I want to give my students a fun and refreshing way to have power and control in their learning. Please help me show my students how fun reading and learning can be!
