The students that enter my kindergarten classroom come from various backgrounds with various degrees of outside experiences. Some have experienced preschool or daycare and others have never left their parents. Some students have traveled, seen museums, gone to the beach or to the mountains and others have never left their neighborhood. Some students come in able to read and write, others do not know how to hold a pencil and can not name a single letter. The great thing is... all students who enter my classroom CAN learn and grow. They need love, patience, friendship, guidance and confidence. Each students receives that and more when they enter my classroom.
