My students are energetic, determined, and amazing children. They love to move and to play. They enjoy school because they love learning in so many different ways. They are amazing because they show up to school with a smile on their faces no matter what their circumstances are at home! For many of my students, school is their safe haven. As a teacher in a low-income urban area, my students face many challenges in and out of school.Many of my students also speak another language at home but we their bilingual capabilities to enhance their learning. They are determined to learn as much as they can so they can apply their education outside of school!
