Our music programs include a variety of special speaking roles, solos, and instrumental parts woven throughout. Our students are encouraged to memorize these special roles, but the stage can be a frightening place and sometimes line are forgotten! In order to assure that lines and parts are performed without the embarrassment of their minds going blank, we need music stands to hold all of their parts during the rehearsals and performances. A good performance breeds self confidence and empowers each child to continue performing music in the future. When a child does well in his or her performance, they feel strong enough to do it again! This also teaches the students how to prepare and present, allowing them to feel more comfortable in public speaking or performance roles down the road. Please consider donating music stands to our school to help our children feel confident to share what they have learned!
