Having the set of tablets will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. One way they will be used is as a reading center. Students can read with the tablet to build their vocabulary skills. My students will work on phonic skills, comprehension skills and language skills as well as being involved in their own education. They will be able to work as a peer with their classmates who are having difficulty and help build self esteem and a community of learners. My ESL students need to hear and read the English language as much as possible. These tablets will enhance English and give them an opportunity to be independent learners.
