Students will have access to age appropriate technology that is easy for them to use. Many of our students have fine motor issues and cannot manipulate a mouse on a desktop or laptop computer. Using tablets will allow the children to be more independent while working with technology. The tablets will allow the children access to applications that will support both academic and social emotional development such as Handwriting Without Tears and Social Adventures. In addition to using these types of applications, these tablets can help us to extend our activities by allowing us to look up information and do research about high interest topics. The cases will keep our tablets safe when being handled and the charging station will be a good home to store them all when charging.
