The ability to have a truly flipped classroom will provide my college prep scholars with an authentic college classroom experience. Senior year requires scholars to complete extensive research, culminating in a digital portfolio. Additional technology like these tablets will allow me to begin to move my seniors to a more digital learning environment and allow us to bypass the lack of resources. The transition will mirror the way college classes are conducted and will alleviate some of the shock of moving from high school to college. Additionally, my high school's high ELL population will see a significant boost through language acquisition apps that our English department uses. The addition of these tablets will allow each ELL scholar to gain additional differentiated practice away from the traditional paper and pencil route.
