If our project is funded, the students will be able to explore and dive deeper into content using these materials. Some of the materials will immediately update the classroom and allow for a more comfortable environment for the students to learn. Beginning as a new teacher at this particular school, the classroom lacks basic necessities that every room should have. Our classroom budget of $50 just doesn't cover the cost of supporting the kids at the beginning of the school year. The chart stand will allow my kids to follow lesson material on the dry erase board, while following along on their own dry erase boards. The headphones will aid in a more quiet environment when small groups are using the computer and iPad, as well as allow the user to hear content on the device. The clipboards will be a great way for students to be mobile while doing classwork, such as interviews or scavenger hunts. Our curriculum allows for using the arts as a great tool for students to create projects based on a lesson, so the arts and music materials are a very important piece of the classroom. The sight word and math bingo games are a great way for students to practice their skills, and have fun at the same time. The basic items, such as erasers, markers, crayons, rulers, etc, are materials that we will use very frequently, and we need as many as we can get! ALL of these supplies will be greatly appreciated, and the students will KNOW how the kindness of others helped them to be apart of a supported classroom!
