Students need to read books that pull them into the story, inviting them to engage with the characters, all while teaching them life-lessons. This past school year I read Wonder to my students, and they truly enjoyed every bit of it. Our school does not have enough copies of this book, so for now when we read this we have to share a copy among three students. I plan on reading this book this upcoming year, but would like for each student to have his/her own copy to read. The past school year when we read it, many times students did not have time to complete tasks in class; but since these were books that belonged to the school our students could not take them home. If they each student had a copy we would be able to do so much more with this unit. By supporting our project, you will help students who did not understood the daily chapters, have a book to take home and re-read chapters.
