My students range from 6th to 8th grade and have a wide variety of abilities and needs. All of my students are on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) which help to ensure that they reach their highest level of achievement. Although my students have challenges which make traditional schooling more difficult, my classroom offers a place where they can relax and feel empowered! In addition to working on traditional academic skills, my students also learn and work on social, emotional, and life skills in my class. These skills will help them not only in middle school, but throughout their lives.

About my class
