Hi All, I am trying to raise funds for outdoor games equipment for our Physical Education classes at Valley Middle School. I would love to introduce outdoor games to my students, and these materials will give them a chance to experience and enjoy them! Many of our students may not have had the opportunity to play these games before. As an adult, I find myself playing these games often in social situations. I want to prepare my students for the future. The students at Valley Middle School deserve this chance! The games I am requesting are: Corn Hole, Lawn Golf, Spyder Ball, and Bocce Ball. All of these activities work on the under hand throwing motion which is one of the areas we focus on in PE, but only a small portion of our yearly activities hit this target area. Students will also get a chance to practice with positive peer interactions. Even middle school students benefit from some practice and reminders with taking turns, following the rules of the games, and practicing good sportsmanship. I am so excited at the possibility of being able to introduce this new unit to all of our students at Valley Middle School, and give them another reason to be excited to come to class!
