In my history class, World Cultures, my students crave for more than just an outdated textbook for details and facts about the world. I do integrate technology into the class to help bring the material to life but it's one thing to have it being presented and another to explore it digitally by using Chromebooks. I believe that working with Chromebooks in the class will give all my students the opportunity to explore the world and be a 21st century student. The Chromebooks will help create a digital classroom where my students can work collaboratively through Google Drive in creating a product... presentation using Google Slides, art and drawing collection using Google Draw, a story, poem, song, or a play on Google Forms to name a few products. Working with Chromebooks will allow my students, especially my reluctant readers to explore the world in a more interactive way to suit their learning styles and allow them the opportunity to be as creative as possible. The Chromebooks will allow my students to know they can achieve more without the traditional school layout who most consider boring due to the fact that they are growing up in a digital world. I strongly believe that Chromebooks are the way to reach my digital-aged students and they will greatly benefit from your generous donations. Thank you!
