Early literacy is an important aspect of the preschool classroom. Identifying letters and letter sounds are an important part of our school day, as we focus on a letter of the week. To make learning letters fun and engaging for all types of learners, we need more letter activities/games in our classroom for whole group, small group, and one on one learning. Your donation will help my students engage with the letters in a hands-on, play-based way! This is the heart of preschool learning and what I strive for in my preschool classroom. These various letter activities (alphabet teaching tubs, fishing sets, pocket chart, and mystery box) will build the foundation for early reading and writing while getting students engaged and excited about letters. When the students become excited about learning their letters, they will become more engaged in literacy creating success for their future in the classroom.
