One area my students struggle is in collaboration skills. These tables will help them learn tolerance for others and their ideas. Students will be able to work with different groups each day in a "round table" setting rather than all facing the front of the room at a rectangular table. Through guided practice students will learn the proper ways to disagree, agree, add important information, and help others through discussion. This will help improve their social skills while completing student led projects in the classroom. These skills are important for my students as they will lay the foundation of how they will treat others in the future.
