In our district, we believe Literacy is King. All teachers help establish a love for reading with our students. One thing that makes this possible is having a classroom library that has a variety of books that can gain the interest of our students. With your support, my students will have a vast amount of content rich books available to them along with sets of books that will encourage them to read the next book. The classroom that has been assigned to me is very limited and has a shortage of new, colorful and content rich books. Even though I have brought my personal books from home, I believe my students deserve to have more. With your generous support, you will be helping me create a classroom library that will encourage my students to develop a love for reading and be on track to becoming lifelong learners.
