As educational budgets are stretched farther and farther, our technology and reusable supplies are showing their age and consumable supplies are becoming more scarce. Educators have become very creative in repurposing supplies, but there comes a time when equipment breaks and/or becomes obsolete in the industry. In the healthcare field, electronic records and "real-time" documentation at the bedside are the standard. Healthcare students need to learn to use equipment specific to the industry and have access to a mobile computer without trekking to the computer lab. These laptop computers will also be used in researching specific healthcare-related topics and in creating given assignments.
