My 4th grade Math and Science class is full of energetic students who love to participate in small groups centers. They look forward to working with each other and putting their math skills to practice with engaging manipulatives and games. The majority of these students come from low-income families and receive free or reduced-priced lunch. Their resources at home are limited and usually only receive content practice or enrichment in the classroom. I want my classroom to be a place where students are engaged and interested in developing their skills and are allowed to do so as they work cooperatively with their peers.

About my class
