My students will be able to conduct mathematical "centers-based learning activities" in the areas of rounding, multiplying, dividing, adding, and subtracting. Students will work hands-on with teacher made centers and manipulatives to practice graphing, working with fractions, place value, time, and money. Supplies such as the papers and ink will be used to create teacher made centers found off Pinterest and Teachers Pay Teachers. The flash cards will be used for drill and practice while transitioning between classes and when there are an extra few minutes left in the lesson. Literature will be used to write about math topics in our math journaling as we explore how to conduct a number talk and explain our mathematical thinking.
