My classroom library is lacking first grade level books! I am hoping to fund this project so I can have a larger variety of books for my students to read. Each set of leveled books gives my students the opportunity to read several books on their level. I want to foster a love for reading in my students! I want them to enjoy reading and I believe the best way to accomplish this is by having books that are on their level. This way they never feel frustrated while reading. Having grade-level books will also help my students build their phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
