An easel can be a teacher and student's best friend...until it breaks! My classroom is in need of a new easel to use for not only big book read alouds, but the whole group lessons in reading and math that we will have on the carpet. As a class, I love to create anchor charts on the easel with student input. The students absolutely love seeing their ideas on the charts (and not to mention, using the smelly markers)! The whiteboard part of the easel will also be perfect for modeling with whole group math lessons or even a small group math lesson on the carpet.
