In order to keep our students safe, we have moved to no shared equipment in Physical Education classes. This has limited our options when it comes to meeting our standards and playing certain active games. My students have made the best of the situation, and are still having fun, but I want to make their physical education experience as fun and as educational as possible. These materials will allow my students to participate in even more activities that will help them learn our Physical Education standards. Both grade levels that I teach are expected to master jump rope skills. The jump ropes, additionally, can be used as obstacles to jump over, start and stop lines, and a way to measure distance between two places. We also have standards focused on throwing and hitting a target which the bean bags will be used to accomplish. Lastly, the spot markers will allow us to better space ourselves out, to create spots to run or throw to, or obstacles for agility-related exerices.
