See Yourself in Books! I am the Academically Gifted Teacher at my elementary school and hope to address the social and emotional needs of Gifted Students by starting a bibliotherapy group. (mostly 4th-5th graders). Bibliotherapy involves reading texts that "speak" to the students themselves to help them work through issues they might be struggling with--uniqueness, perfectionism, perserverance, accepting others and/or themselves, and more. We are a Title I school.
