My goal this school year is to teach my students to become lovers of books so that they can become strong readers and leaders of the future. Having a large classroom library is a vital part of cultivating a love for reading in children. I want my students to love to read and to read just for fun! My classroom library must offer a wide variety of titles, genres, and various authors in order to meet the many interests of my diverse group of students on a daily basis. A strong classroom library offers a book to student ratio of 30:1. This project will help make this ratio a reality in my classroom and give my students many books to fall in love with this year!
