I teach a class of enthusiastic and lovable 2nd graders who are excited to come in each day and learn! Our school is known for our positive and inviting school climate, developing the whole child, and deepening their love of learning! I am fortunate that my students come from diverse backgrounds and cultures to bring new experiences into the classroom. In our room, we reflect on our differences and similarities and by doing so, we strengthen our class and school "family". In the same way that my students come from unique backgrounds, they also learn in a variety of ways. I strive to recognize these different learning styles and create an environment where all of my students are successful. I do this by differentiating the ways in which they access what they are learning. For example, with different types of materials and instructional practices.
