Most students at my school come from low-income families. These families often lack the resources and supplies needed to help their children succeed academically. Despite their hardships, my scholars still come to school with excitement and a readiness to learn. I co-teach in an all-inclusive, second grade classroom. The scholars I serve are students with varying learning disabilities. Many of my scholars are performing below grade-level in reading and math. As their educator, it is important that I provide them with the necessary resources to help them succeed.
