I teach at a Title I school in rural Texas. I will be teaching World Cultures and Geography, Texas History and College and Career Readiness to approximately 165 students which include ELL students. Our demographics have shifted dramatically over the last 5 years. We are now predominantly Hispanic. We lack technology in our classrooms and almost 800 students have to share 4 labs on our campus. Poverty is a huge issue in our community, as well. Our students lack basic technological equipment, skills and internet services at home and within our community. My focus is to get books, technology and resources for lifelong learning into the hands of my students.

About my class
